Detention sketches

I had a detention today, because I've already forgotten to bring my ID three times this year... heh.... oops .

So, to occupy myself, I did a little sketching.

This first one is Allen, a character in one of my novels. I just came up with a decent look for him, sooo...

Beck's pretty handsome, not to mention an awesome musician. I did this all from memory so that explains why it doesn't look much like him. His hair is so fun to draw!

Extremes

The seafloor is really an extreme place. Underwater mountains and volcanoes in freezing water. I tried as hard as I could to capture the contrast.

...Makes me want to write. To be honest, I'm more of a writer than an artist, but both still make me happy. For example, right now I'm in the mood to write something romantic, but with a twist that would also make it a depressing read, or a satire.
