My Review of Rooibos Tropica® Rooibos Tea

Originally submitted at Teavana

A flavorful and amazingly fragrant blend of Green and Red Rooibos, strawberry, peach, sunflower and cornflower petals, and orange peel. Rooibos Tropica also makes a delicious and healthy gourmet iced tea. Just double the amount of tea you use and pour over ice.

A Wonderful Blend!

Tea Body: Full

Tea Finish: Short

Tea Flavor: Citrusy, Strong, Fruity

Pros: Whole Leaf Tea, Fresh, Affordable, Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile, Soothing

Best Uses: Anytime, Evening

Describe Yourself: Tea Enthusiast

This is a great tea on it's own or blended with other teas. It has a delicious aroma and is perfect with only a few crystals of sugar. Just writing about it is making me crave it again. The flavor is fruity but not overbearing, and it can help to either wake you up, calm you down, or even help you feel better. If you are looking for a fruity and tasty tea that isn't weak or too strong, this is it! The price couldn't be better, since I've managed to get 2-3 infusions each time I measure out fresh leaves.

Light, Delicious, a little pricey

Describe Yourself: Tea Enthusiast

This was the first tea I got from a Teavana. It has a delicious, light flavor and sweet aftertaste. It tastes like tea because the raspberry is not overbearing, and the look and scent of the leaves as well as the aroma once it is brewed is very nice. I drink it in the evenings to calm down. Not only is it soothing but it improves your breath and teeth (or at least I think so. :) ) It is rather expensive, but you may be able to get more than one infusion from the leaves if you brew them carefully. Overall, a very healthy and natural-tasting tea. I don't even add sugar, because it's very good as is.

Okay, I know it's been a while, but guess what?

I'm a winner! :B

Yaay.

Final stats!
I reached 50,000 words a day early, but I didn't feel like I would really win unless I brought the story to a satisfactory close.

So, with an hour and fifteen minutes to spare on the east coast, I did.

Final count:
51,637 words. *faints*

You can see my bar graph o' progress here.

And this is my last paragraph. The rest of the manuscript needs a load of work but I like it.

"The streets are empty of the ghostly boys, of women’s blue babies now, as the sun sets and the rain keeps falling as usual. They must be somewhere else, waiting, or the coup could be starting at this very moment. In the hospital boiler room, Skip is stroking his white rat, waiting to see how it turns out, and, a couple hundred feet above him, Clara, Sam and I stand on the threshold of the crosswalk, waiting for the light to change. The traffic stops to our left and to our right. Clara takes Sam’s hand, and he takes mine, and together our feet step off the sidewalk and into a puddle, creating a chord of eerie consonance."

...Whew! So um... yeah. Did anyone else participate this year?

An illustration for one of my short stories. I'd like to remake it digitally. The large items there are salt and pepper shakers. :D

And, why yes the new school year has started! That means... GD III! I'll keep this blog up as long as we keep working on stuff.
